Elementor not responsive, can’t make any updates to Woodmart theme website
-
I’m working on a homepage for a client website and recently elementor has become unresponsive / frozen, when I try to make small edits. I have tried the following with no success:
– Changing browser from Chrome to Firefox and clearing browser cache
– Deactivating all plugins except Elementor and Woodmart Core
– Changed Elementor setting CSS Print Method to Internal Embedding
I’m concerned I will not be able to finish my project on time. This is one a development site and I need to transfer the finished site to the client’s business URL within a fortnight.
Please help me as soon as possible.

Hello,
Please disable any plugins not directly related to our theme and provide us with your admin access details. We will log in to your dashboard and investigate the issue. Please ensure that you only keep the following plugins that are necessary for our theme to work correctly:
– WoodMart core
– WooCommerce
– Elementor/WPBakery Page Builder
Thank you in advance.
Hello,
I have created an admin account for you and shared the login details privately.
I have reactivated the plugins you mentioned.
I look forward to resolving the issue.
Thanks in advance.
Also, please note that I tried increasing the memory limits for PHP via my host’s cPanel, but it didn’t fix the issue.
It seems that it is caused by Elementor Tabs element. We tested with the default theme and see the same issue. Here is a video https://monosnap.com/file/6TjFa4LFQ2EX6m9SmWjEKzXr09sfzQ
You can check it on your website as well.
So are you saying I cannot use the elementor tab item?
You can use any elements but we recommend you using our theme’s tabs element instead. Using tabs + HTML blocks you can achieve the same functionality on our theme and the editor will work faster.
Note that it is a known issue of the Elementor plugin, not the theme. Check here https://github.com/elementor/elementor/issues/29424
