Google Maps – Tried Everything – My location appears in back end – not on front.

There appears to be an API key in place…
I have the right coordinates – as my location shows in the back end, but when I refresh and even clear cache there is a load error on the front end of the contact page. I have googled but nothing coming up, surely this is not a paid service is it?

I have tried to create temp login, I can’t seem to find it, followed your tutorial.. can not generate a link any way…. please trey the below details… This should work.. I just copied and pasted the pass… No reason why it should not let you in.

Hello,
Google Maps is a separate functionality and API keys from Google are not included in the theme. We have just an element that integrates that functionality from Google. If they have some trial subscriptions for the API key, you can use them.

The whole google eco-system is way too complex…
I found this YT video…. The map is a little different to the one on demo – I didn’t want a bright colour map – I prefer the darker sleeker look map but not sure how, but I used the first option, using a code module and html… Is there a way to edit the map appearance?

Thanks, but what is the advantage over google maps? Is it not more beneficial for someone to click a googlew map and have google maps open and direct them to my premises?? I don’t know anything about open street map..

It’s a free map. If you need exactly the Google map, use the solution provided in the video you sent. But in that case, I cannot tell you exactly how to edit the appearance.
