Filter issue with SQL requests
-
Dear Xtemos
My Server receives a lot of very heavy request from your theme. I haven’t installed any Shop filter Plugin.
And I have already reduced filter from Archive page as much as possible. Mostly there is 1) Brand, 2) Color and then 3) either one or two more sizes.
Still it seems that the shop is sending random SQL request to my server. I receive thousands of error notifications just in 24h.
If you see error message below, it seems the request is mixing random products filters, like size, temperature and color. Which does not make any sense to me…?
Do you see any reason behind these request? They odder all night long, so its to user/traffic based. it seems like some index or something which is WooCommerce or your theme doing?
I would be very grateful for some insights.
Many thanks
Anias

Hello,
Show the filters via the default widgets from WooCommerce and enable the default WooCommerce Storefront theme and then check how it works there.
Let me know the result.
Kind Regards
Hi, I am not ging to do that. As it will cause dozen of issues switching the Storefront. I have done this already….. and it is a pain.
It seems then there is no solution for his issue.
Hello,
The thing is that the Filters functionality comes from WooCommerce so that is why I asked to check it on the Storefront. I suggest you clone the website and move to the staging platform so in such a way the live site will not be affected. https://www.wpbeginner.com/wp-tutorials/how-to-create-staging-environment-for-a-wordpress-site/
Kind Regards
Okay I will try that. you can close this ticket. thanks a lot
