Adding to cart takes too much time

The waiting time when adding products to the cart is very long. When I set up the demo site, it was added to the cart in a short time after clicking the add to cart button, but now the adding to cart time is very long.
After clicking the add to cart button, it sometimes takes 10 seconds to add to the cart.

What is the reason for this problem and how can it be solved?

Hello,

Please deactivate all the third party plugins and activate only theme-required plugins on the site and then check the issue. I am sure your issue will be solved. Then activate the third party plugins one by one and check which plugin is creating the issue for you.

Otherwise, if the issue still exists, then keep the third party plugins deactivated and let me know I will check and give you a possible solution.

I found the problem. The problem is caused by the WP Rocket plugin. If I disable the plugin, the add to cart time is significantly faster, but even if I leave only the woodmart plugins running, it is still not fast enough.

I know WP Rocket is not your plugin, but I would appreciate it if you could help me. What setting should I change in WP Rocket that affects this?

Why is the add to cart time not fast enough even with just the default plugins? The server quality is good and I am using a premium server.

If you specify the CSS and JS files that are added to the cart and processed after being added to the cart, WP Rocket can exclude these files.

Now I have checked your site, and the WP Rocket is activated and it is loading fine.

But most of your server responses take up to 3s ,and not only add to cart. Check your site after completely clearing the site cache/browser cache and check the issue.

I tested it from different browsers and it takes too long to add products to the cart. It takes an average of 3-5 seconds to add to the cart. Sometimes it can even take 10 seconds on mobile.
