How to Display 1 Column of Products or Disable Ajax Search on Mobile?

    Hello,

    I want to change the design of the search results on mobile to display only one column of products.

    From my perspective, there are two options to achieve this: either modify the design (if possible—I haven’t been able to find a way) or disable Ajax Search on mobile.

    I’m referring to the mobile-view Ajax Search that appears after the user clicks the icon in the header to open the search field.

    I’ve checked under:
    Header Builder -> Edit -> Mobile -> Edit on the “Search” element, and I’m using the “Full Screen” display. However, there’s no option to disable Ajax Search on mobile—only on desktop.

    I can achieve this with the normal search (which triggers a full page load) using layouts, but I can’t find a way to disable Ajax Search on mobile.

    Hello,

    I ended up disabling the AJAX search for both mobile and desktop views like this:

    Theme settings → Performance → JS → Advanced scripts controls (ON) → Scripts never load → AJAX search

    This also worked to disable the AJAX search only for mobile devices:

    Theme settings → Settings presets → Add a new preset → Conditions (Custom — equals — Is mobile device) → Edit theme settings → Performance → JS → Advanced scripts controls (ON) → Scripts never load → AJAX search

    Issue solved — thank you!
