Relevanssi search not submitting

    I have woodmart installed with relevanssi search.
    The search results work IF I press enter on the search.
    But if I don’t press enter, the Ajax spinner shows up and never gives a result. It requires clicking the search icon or hitting enter.
    This is the same for a wordpress search element or a woodmart search element in WPBakery.
    I have the settings to use relevanssi for the Ajax search in the woodmart theme settings.
    What else do I need to adjust so it works properly?
