product category menu seem to change their order

    I suspect there is a bug in the WoodMart theme. When the homepage loads, the items in the product category menu seem to change their order.

    How can this be resolved?

    Thanks for reaching to us.

    To change the sorting of categories, you need to select Order by > Menu order in this element, and then change the position of this category on the category page https://monosnap.com/file/tTjjXYi5SEiK23ey86ZpHa3nfH92uv. This type of sorting is the most correct.

    I don’t want to change any product categories, but my product categories shifted/changed on their own after I opened the website, as shown in the screen recording video.

    How can I fix it to be normal again?
    I think it might be a problem caused by a theme error, right?

    It’s related to the Slider loop option, and this is expected behavior because that’s how the Swiper library is designed to work. Please disable this option in the settings this option and check. https://monosnap.com/file/CWkoXMG8i4Mv1ujJiHxmVpLl2UKULg

    While disabling the slider loop is a possible fix, I don’t like it because there are still various screen sizes that can’t display multiple categories like on a laptop screen or sizes larger than 1366 px.

    I think it’s a bug or an error in the theme that should be better addressed, don’t you think?

    I want to create a slider loop for mobile and tablet screens because it only displays 3 menu items.

    You probably understand. But when I enabled it, a bug occurred on screens wider than 1366px.

    I don’t think you’re addressing the problem correctly. I tried purchasing the Blocksy + Greenshift themes, and they also had an issue with a slider loop.

    However, when I sent them a ticket, describing the problem in just a few sentences, they understood the issue perfectly and helped me fix the bug immediately.

    They even sent me an update. If you were a customer !

    Thanks for your patience and glad to hear your same issue has been resolved.

    I sent this topic to our developer and we answered your question. Sometimes, not always, you need additionally customize the theme or plugin to make them work together. Unfortunately, it’s not possible for the author to make the theme compatible with all the existing plugins and additional customization is outside the scope of our basic support.

    Slider loop bug in the product menu is a fundamental issue known to originate directly from the WoodMart theme itself. The theme’s customization options even provide a toggle to enable or disable this feature.

    As a customer I am deeply disappointed with this level of support and response, as it does not constitute a genuine solution to the problem. I believe that other users who come across this thread will share my sentiment that this issue has not been properly addressed !
