Hello, unfortunately there seems to be no option to show the true WooCommerce breadcrumbs like:

    “Shop Main Page / Category / Subcategory / …. / Single Product”

I am missing this as well es on the archive as one the single product pages.

This makes the navigation especially on mobile somehow … unpleaseant, esprecially when we deactivate the shop title (I do not like it too much).

    To make it short:
Would it be possible to integrate this in a further update – or can you recommend a plugin to solve this?

    Thank you,
    Sandra

    Hello,

Please go to Settings > Permalinks in your WordPress dashboard. Under the Product Permalinks section, select “Shop base with category” and click Save Changes: https://postimg.cc/fkrQ9hzM

This setting changes your product URLs to include the category path, which helps WooCommerce display more complete breadcrumbs — like this: Home > Shop > Product Categories > Single product page

After saving, please check your single product pages to see if the breadcrumbs now reflect this structure.

Hello, thanks for your reply. Since my shop is already some years old, it would be a bad idea to change the permalinks now.

With the theme before – it was working fine with all subcategories.

I was also trying another theme these days, Pressmart, and here it was also working fine out of the box.

    So, the question remains….

    Thank you,
    Sandra

    Hello,

Please note that there are two types of breadcrumbs in our theme:

    WooCommerce breadcrumbs, and
    WoodMart breadcrumbs.

If you want your breadcrumbs to include the product category path ( Shop > Category > Product), you’ll need to ensure your permalink settings are configured correctly.

Go to Settings > Permalinks in your WordPress dashboard and choose “Shop base with category” under the Product Permalinks section. This setting allows WooCommerce to include the category in the breadcrumb path.

If you’re referring to the breadcrumbs generated by the WoodMart theme, and you wish to customize their structure, you can do so by editing the inc/template-tags.php file in the theme.

Alternatively, if you’d like to use Yoast SEO breadcrumbs for more flexibility, you can follow the steps outlined in this article to integrate them into your theme: https://kb.yoast.com/kb/add-theme-support-for-yoast-seo-breadcrumbs/
