html block to custom link in menu

Hello
My site is almost ready to go live (working on localhost) but I am running into a (huge) problem.
I created a top menu with several product categories for example :
All items have prodcuct filters because I do not want to link to the main category but to the product page with the filters !
How do I disable the link but show the dropdown html block or even better… assign a html block dropdown menu to a custom link !
please help
Update..
When I choose Click instead of hover I get the dropdown menu but noticed that it does not close automaticly
When I choose the hoover option it indeed show menu but when I click on it it opens the html block in new page….. and that is not what should happen..
Can you please assist me since I’m on a deadline !

I work on a local host (using XAMPP) so my site is not visible
