NajibParticipantHello,
The site hasn’t been updated for almost a year.
It was hacked, containing critical vulnerabilities in version 7.0.1.
So, we restored the backup and then updated the WordPress version and all the plugins to the latest version. At each step of the update, we cleared the cache and verified the integrity of the template and site, and everything was fine.
We then updated the template plugins, and everything was fine.
However, when we updated the template itself, a problem occurred with the slider and other parts of the template. Despite deleting and rebuilding the slider, the issue didn’t resolve the issue.
We have an old license, but the previous site developer registered using it. We don’t know which email address he registered with, so we had to purchase a new license in order to register here and report the current issue.
Would you please help us resolve the issue?Best regards

Luke NielsenKeymasterHello,
Send me access to that website so I can look closer at it.
Also, do you have a staging site with the old version so I can see how it was before?
Kind Regards

NajibParticipantI’ve attached my login details.
Unfortunately, there’s no other version.
Note that the slider is moving left when it should be full screen.
Also, the size of the images and circles directly above the Customer Reviews section has changed. They were originally smaller and more consistent.
In the footer below “We sell all types of original Vital Honey from Malaysia,” the address appears unformatted above the phone number, where the icon is to the right.
I’ve attached images to illustrate this.

Luke NielsenKeymasterHello,
1. May I check how it works on the default theme? As I see you use the default WPB element – https://prnt.sc/onNW94HHqAKj
2. The images are not square – https://prnt.sc/uQNxAkg6f45z , upload them with the square dimensions, then recheck the issue.
3. For the icon, remove the width value – https://prnt.sc/sNc7HkqRhmkP , then recheck the issue.
Kind Regards

NajibParticipantThe person who installed the template and set up the website a year and a half ago had already adjusted these things and placed the same images, but this randomness occurred after the template was updated.
So why didn’t this happen before, even though the images weren’t square, for example?May 29, 2025 at 6:51 pm #664070
NajibParticipantThe slider was already installed using WPB element and was working without any issues. Can you help me fix that?

Luke NielsenKeymasterHello,
May I disable the 3rd party plugins for testing?
Also, do you have a backup of the old version? If so, could you please make a staging site with the old version?
Kind Regards

NajibParticipantI created a subdomain sometime using an older version and everything appears to be fine.
Also, note that the theme on pages other than the home page has lost its customizations, such as colors and logo.

NajibParticipantYou can disable plugins. Note that I disabled all plugins except the basic plugins for the theme for testing, but that did not fix the problem.

Luke NielsenKeymasterHello,
1. Could you please disable the server cache for a while?
2. After checking your image, we see that it cannot be cropped because one of the sides is smaller than the specified size: https://monosnap.com/file/mOzZRQrP0uesIGWXtmkcr7CkH2RxXu In this case, you need to either enlarge the image or reduce the crop size. Previously, this was an issue because cropping this way used to break images in other cases.
3. Set the same header as you have for the home page – https://prnt.sc/evSezuF-Rz4Q (Header Base), then clear the cache and recheck the issue.
Kind Regards

NajibParticipantSuccess: NGINX cache is inactive.

NajibParticipantHeader Base didn’t fix the issue

Luke NielsenKeymasterHello,
1. It seems that you have changed the slider and now it works – https://prnt.sc/kFZKAk5SE8Ms , https://prnt.sc/oVCTr3hsadoG
3. The same header is defined for other pages: https://prnt.sc/R2-KOuzwLJZE -> https://prnt.sc/ZshVK-8BK_os
Clarify if I missed something.
Kind Regards
