Missing Favicon

    Dear xtemos
    I See that my page has no favicon at any google service.
    Shouldnt that be some default behavior from your theme?
    Can you tell me which section, logo, or favicon are responsible for this in your theme?

    Hi kontaktme,

    Thanks for reaching to us.

    Please navigate to the Appearance > Customize > Site identity and set the icon for your site.

    Google and all the search engines index and reindex pages with some period which can take more weeks, please give time to the search engines. it may take some time for Google to crawl your site and update the favicon on search results.

    Many thanks for that hint.
    Usually I have done all such settings and configs. and also this favicon is done already. But for some reason Its not visible in Google…
    It is a big SEO issue for me, as the search result looks quite bad.

    Sorry if my solutions don’t help you, but this is out of our controls.

    1. I kindly recommend you to purge the cache of CDN, disable it temporarily and double check the issue.

    2. You are using Yoast SEO plugin, for specialized assistance and potential solutions, I kindly suggest that you reach out directly to the author plugin’s support team https://wordpress.org/support/plugin/wordpress-seo/, who are better equipped to provide you with the guidance you requires.

    H Hung,
    Yoast telling me they dont do anything with Favicon. It is very weird. I mean, it must be able to show the favicon as other pages do? and this must be a WordPress or a Theme thing? Do you confirm that “other pages” with your theme do show favicon as it should?

    Okay, thank you I found the issue, it’s the German translation which confused me, the element has a different naming. Thanks a lot it works
