Problem with variation swatches display on the single product page in my website

Hello,
I’ve encountered an problem while creating my website related to how variation swatches are displayed in theme.

On the product archive page, everything works correctly — the swatches appear as images assigned to specific product variations in the product settings.

However, on the single product page, the swatches don’t behave the same way. Instead of showing the images assigned to the individual product variations, the global images assigned to the attribute variations are being displayed.

I’m using the same set of variations for each product, but I assign different images to those variations in the product settings. I don’t have separate variation terms created for each product.

Is there a way to make the single product page display the images assigned to specific product variations, just like it works on the archive page?
