On Product Page Upsells If Specific Variation of a product added, no Brand link

When setting a product’s upsell products to be shown, if you select a variable product as a specific variation the brand link doesn’t show in the product card on the front end of the product page.
On this pag,e for example (https://massapothecary.com/hemplucid-whole-plant-cbd-oil-full-spectrum/), the “Hemplucid Full-Spectrum CBD Soft Gels Capsules – 50mg” product in the upsell is the specific variation (50mg) of the variable product “Hemplucid Full-Spectrum CBD Soft Gels Capsules”. When you select a specific variation for the upsell instead of the variable product as a whole, the brand link doesn’t show. In the screenshot, the red circle is where the brand “Hemplucid CBD” link should be.

I can do that on the staging site for you. I set up same product example with the same variable product added to upsell products as a specific variation.

The issue is that after enabling the “Show single variation” option, you didn’t resave the products via bulk edit, so in the live site, enable the “Show single variation” option then resave all products and then it should work – https://prnt.sc/sPU7TgLJkFQa

Also. I dony want all variations showing as individual products wjoch is what that setting does. I just want upsells/cross sells to shoe the brand link if an individual variation options is selected for the upsell rather than the parent variable product.
If you do not need that feature, disable the “Show single variation” option in Theme Settings -> Shop -> Variable products and recheck the issue.

The issue is the brand link not showing in the upsells when a soecific variation is selected for upsells. Not that the product diesnt show or that I want the shop page to show all variations as single products. I know I can disable the setting you enabled to fix that. Then we’re back at the start of my question that I still need help with.
