wildguitarsParticipantGreetings XTemos team!
We are trying to create a simple post with some elements such as information box and while setting it up – after saving / updating it adds a random text block + breaks the bakery tags. Something in the process of adding elements with some settings is not working properly and creates this situation.
Please see the information in the private content.
Thanks in advance for your assistance.

wildguitarsParticipantHi Aizaz,
Thanks so much for the prompt reply – great news that you were able to resolve the issue.
Can you please explain what we need to do to resolve it on our live site as well?
Empty rows are constantly being added either to the beginning or the end of the long descriptions of product pages; I’m assuming it’s the same issue as with the blog posts.Best regards,

Aizaz Imtiaz AwanKeymasterHello,
The issue was caused by unnecessary or corrupted empty rows added by the page builder. On your blog post, I manually removed the extra text block and empty rows.
To fix the same issue on your live site, you can:
- Edit the product or post using WPBakery.
- Look for any empty “Text Block” elements or rows without content, especially at the beginning or end.
- Delete those elements and update the page.

wildguitarsParticipantHi Aizaz,
Thanks again for your prompt reply. But that’s just the thing – the empty rows are being added automatically whenever we save the pages. 🙂 It happens on our live site as well, in blog posts, product pages, etc. We delete the rows, save the page and they re-appear. This is why I opened the ticket.
Best regards,

Aizaz Imtiaz AwanKeymasterHello,
The issue does not appear on your staging site after updating the blog post. Could you please share the URL of the live site along with the admin login details, so I can investigate further and provide a possible solution?

wildguitarsParticipantHi Aizaz,
If you are logged into our staging site (dev2) as an admin, you should be able to access the link which lead directly to the blog post edit page. Anyway, I have provided a link to the front end page in the private content, as well as the link to the video recording again.Best regards,

Aizaz Imtiaz AwanKeymasterHello,
Please deactivate all the 3rd party plugins and activate only theme-required plugins on the site, and then check the issue. I am sure your issue will be solved. Then activate the 3rd-party plugins one by one and check which plugin is creating the issue for you.
Otherwise, if the issue still exists, then keep the 3rd party plugins deactivated and let me know so I can check and give you a possible solution. Also, switch the child theme to the parent theme and check the issue after completely clearing the browser cache and server cache.
Best Regards,

wildguitarsParticipantHi Aizaz,
I have disabled all plugins except for the following on our staging site:
– Classic Editor
– Loco Translate
– WooCommerce
– Woodmart Core
– WPBakery Page BuilderThe issue still persists – after saving a post, an empty row is added at the end. If you delete it and re-save the post, the row is added again.
I accidentally provided a link to our live site and not our staging site in my previous message, please see the correct link the private content.

Aizaz Imtiaz AwanKeymasterHello,
Could you please check how it works with some default WordPress themes like TwentyTwenty or WooCommerce Storefront to understand if it is our theme’s issue or not?
Best Regards,

wildguitarsParticipantHi Aizaz,
It seems as if the issue persists after switching to the Twenty Twenty-Five theme.
Does this mean I need to reach out to WPBakery support?Best regards,
TomJune 16, 2025 at 2:09 pm #667677
Aizaz Imtiaz AwanKeymasterHello,
Since the issue still occurs even with the default WordPress theme active, it is unlikely to be caused by the Woodmart theme. Yes, in this case, it would be best to contact WPBakery support for further assistance, as the issue appears to be related to their plugin. Let me know if you need any help sharing the details with their team.
Best Regards,

wildguitarsParticipantThnk you, Aizaz, I will reach out to WPBakery support right away.
