Hello, I am creating a “placeholder” product that will hold all four different “child” linked variation products, which are using two different attribute types. (Screenshot1)
You can see how the products are attributed, visiblity, status, stock, etc. in Screenshot 2.
The ultimate goal is to exclude from catalog and exclude from search the “child” products so that only the “placeholder” product is searchable/visible for a cleaner look. Once the placeholder product is selected the customer can then navigate to any of the four “child” products via the attribute badges.
With Placeholder product ID 48684 something weird is occurring, if I select the 30ct. attribute badge, product ID 42923 is served. However, if I select the 50ct. attribute badge from the placeholder product page it serves back to ID 48684 instead of serving product ID 42929.
Weirder still, if you go from product ID 48684, select the 30ct attribute page, get sent to product ID 42923 and then select the 50ct attribute badge from there is DOES serve product ID 42929.
Please help me troubleshoot why this is occurring. I have provided account access below.
