Video thumb on a post

I have a Youtube video thumb as featured image on a blog post. Then when entering the post the same thumb is visible again as it is the embeded video.
Therefore I would like to hide the featured image on this blog post. How can I do that?

At the moment I have solved it with css hiding the featured image by postID. But in the future, if there are a lot of similar posts, the client would like it to fix automatically 😉

Hello,

Currently, hiding the featured image using CSS by post ID is a valid approach. However, for a more scalable solution, we recommend using a plugin like “Conditionally display featured image on singular posts and pages” – it allows you to disable the featured image per post directly from the editor.
