paul-2426ParticipantHi, I have this issue on a number of sites when I have updated to 8.2.3
The site is throwing a ‘There has been a critical error on this website.’ in the footer area when viewed as a standard visitor and the site is displayed in a box.
But when viewed logged in as a wordpress admin, the site views correctly as expected and how it looked before the update to 8.2.3

Artem TemosKeymasterHello,
Could you please disable all plugins that are not related to our theme and provide us your admin access so we can check it?
Thank you in advance

paul-2426ParticipantHI, Thanks for the reply.
Through a process of elimination I can confirm the conflict/issue is only present when the plugin ‘Speed Optimizer’ by siteground is enabled. I presume that’s why the issue cannot be seen when logged into admin area. (caching is disabled for admins).
A very minimal caching profile with the plugin active also works fine, but If I turn on ‘File-Based Caching’ or any of the ‘front end’ options, this causes the error message and the site to display in a small box view.

Artem TemosKeymasterIf the plugin is caused by some of the installed plugins, you need to contact plugin’s developers for help.

paul-2426ParticipantHi again,
I just want to reiterate — the Speed Optimizer plugin has not changed, and everything worked perfectly before updating to Woodmart 8.2.3.I’d prefer to keep using the latest version of the theme, but at the moment I’ve had to roll back to 8.2.2.
I get that this ins’t a priority but with 1 million installs, Siteground Cache issues are likely going to cause issues for many people updating.

paul-2426ParticipantI just got a reply from the Siteground team, they said ‘Woodmart rolled out two updates today, so they probably messed up and are trying to blame it on us – lol’

Luke NielsenKeymasterHello,
We’ve reviewed your website and cannot reproduce the issue you reported. Could you please confirm whether the recent update resolved the problem on your end?
Kind Regards
