    Hi,

    I have a product consisting in 4 variations. The 2 first ones are colors: 1 Main, 1 Optional color.
    We need the first color to be always available (can be selected) and the second one to show dependant on the choice of the first color.
    If customer choose first color (Main Color) and then the second color (Optional Color) works fine. The problem is when second color (Optional Color) is selected, then customers cannot choose a different first color (Main Color). The only way is to clear all variations and start again. Is there any way to have the Main Color always available no matter the choice of the second color? Main color determines second color options, that’s why we need them always available.

    I did try everything:
    – Only the variations which each colors, avoiding the colors that does not make any variation.
    – All variations but disabling and putting the ones no making variation out of stock.

    it seems nothing works.

    You can use the Default Form Values option on the Variations tab in your WooCommerce settings. This will allow you to set the first variation as the default selection on the product page: https://snipboard.io/0TA2v9.jpg

    Hi Hung,

    Thanks for the answer, but this is not what I’m asking.

    I need that when an Optional Color is selected, ALL the Main Colors are also enabled and able to select.
    Check again. Select as an Optional Color: Red, you will see that the Main Colors: Yellow and Orange are disabled and cannot be selected. I need that no matter what Optional Color you select, all Main Colors can be selected.

    Hope is clear now.

    Please allow me to explain: This is not issue and it is how variable products work.

    Both variations should be in stocks to be able selectable. You can read more here https://woocommerce.com/document/variable-product/
