    Hello,

I am experiencing an issue with the heading tag structure on my blog using the Woodmart theme.

After analyzing the heading structure, I noticed that:

An <h3> tag titled “Blog” systematically appears at the top of every post. However, this tag should not be present according to SEO best practices and the organization I want.

Several <h5> tags (“Nos catégories”, “Derniers articles”, “Nos produits”) also appear at the bottom of the articles, but they are not relevant to the heading hierarchy of my content.

I would like to remove these automatically generated <h3> (“Blog”) and <h5> tags so that only my main headings (H1, H2) appear in the articles, according to the expected structure.

You can check an example here:
    https://www.gazoneo.fr/les-dangers-des-engrais-gazon-base-uree-formaldehyde/

Could you please let me know how to remove these tags generated by the Woodmart theme?
Is this a setting in the theme, a widget, or does it require editing template files?

Thank you in advance for your help.

    Best regards,

    JML GAZONEO

    Hello,

Navigate to Dashboard > Theme Settings > Page Title > Find the option “Page title tag” and set it to from the dropdown.

This will ensure that your page title (the one shown at the top of the page by default) uses the correct main heading tags, which should help resolve the SEO warning: https://monosnap.com/file/gmUVEordivz5k6yXQ7cpdI5SHL7VHP

For the widgets tags, navigate to Theme Settings > Other > Widget title tag > in where you can select the Heading tag which you like for Widgets: https://snipboard.io/GiMCoI.jpg

    Hello,

Thank you for your previous answer, it helped clarify some settings. However, there are still two issues regarding the heading tags on my site that are not fully resolved:

    1 : Blog Listing Page:
On the blog listing page (see here :https://www.gazoneo.fr/blog/ ), the main page title “Blog” is correctly in <h1>, but all article titles are in <h3>.
For SEO best practices, the article titles should be in <h2> instead of <h3>.

    2 : Single Article Page:
On individual articles (see example : https://www.gazoneo.fr/les-dangers-des-engrais-gazon-base-uree-formaldehyde/), the article title is correctly in <h1>, but there is an additional “Blog” heading at the top, in <h3>.
Ideally, the “Blog” <h3> should not be present at all on single article pages, as it is not helpful for SEO and confuses the heading hierarchy.

I have checked the settings as you suggested, but these two problems remain.
Could you please advise how to:

Change the blog article listing titles to <h2> instead of <h3>

Completely remove the “Blog” heading on single article pages

Thank you in advance for your help.

    Best regards,

    Hello,

    01. Unfortunately, there is no option to replace the tag in the Post title in the grid.
By default, the title in the grid is H3

    02. Try to use the theme preset feature of our theme for a single post style and disable the page title option from the theme settings: https://postimg.cc/PCy2N3dC

Here is our documentation on how to use theme presets: https://xtemos.com/docs-topic/theme-settings-presets/

    Best Regards,
