I am using the built-in Waitlist feature in Woodmart theme.
The problem: when a product variation is out of stock, the swatch appears greyed-out and cannot be selected at all. Because of this, the “Join Waitlist” button does not appear.
What I expect:
Out of stock variations should remain clickable (greyed, but selectable).
Once selected, the “Add to cart” button should be replaced with the “Join Waitlist” button.
What I have checked already:
Theme Settings → Shop → Waitlist is enabled.
WooCommerce setting Hide out of stock items from the catalog is disabled.
Variations are enabled, stock managed, quantity set to 0, and status is “Out of stock”.
Cleared cache.
Despite all this, the variations remain locked and the Waitlist does not appear.
Could you please advise how to make out-of-stock variations selectable so that customers can join the Waitlist?
