how can i put images in the dropdown without page builders to be separate for each column of categories and well fitted

I need to do something like in the enclosed print screen
1. case (subcategory > picture > sub-subcategories)
2. case two subcategories with sub-subcategories in the same column one below the other
3. case (subcategory > picture
I don’t want to manualy rewrite links in the menu so i don’t want to use html blocks or use elementor
only appearnce>menu

Unfortunately, it is impossible to create mega menu without using html block.

hi, what do you mean by mega menu? When i am in appearance> menu this is mega menu, right? Additionaly, I can use html blocks if i want, do I understand correctly? So without html blocks I cannot put there picture in a way I sent you? I wouldn’t mind using html blocks and page builder but it means i have to put there links manualy, if there are lets say 700 categories it is going to be a problem, isn’t it?

Yes, without using Page Builders and HTML Blocks it is impossible to create mega menus to add to the menus.
