    Hi,
Prebuilt websites is a very dangerous place to manage, I strongly advice you to put there warning after clicking buttons removing content and importing websites with explanation ( sth like are you sure you want to do it it will …). If one starts working with woodmart may think it is just importing pages and not changing what he has done so far, there should be warning, it is so easy to click it. By the way what are the consequences to my current project if i click removing content of prebuilt websides if at all:

    Hello,

In Woodmart, when you click on the Remove Content button, it already shows a warning pop-up:
    See Screenshots for clarification: https://ibb.co/5XPdX1q8

    Remove Content
Warning: You are going to completely delete the content imported with our theme. This process cannot be undone. Any changes you made in imported pages, posts, or products will be lost.

additionally the same should be done for importing demos I unfortunatelly destroyed my website I thought I am importing not installing

by the way is it enough if i make a copy every day to be save or I must do sth else like saving current settings in woodmart, if so how i can do it (can you give me advice what to do to immediately after crash everything back)

    Hello,

When importing demos, it’s always recommended to do it on a fresh installation because importing on an existing site may overwrite your current content and settings.

For backups, you can use a plugin like UpdraftPlus, All-in-One WP Migration, or your hosting provider’s backup option to create full backups automatically.

For Woodmart-specific settings, you can also export your Theme Settings separately from Dashboard -> Theme Settings -> Import/Export. This way, even if something breaks, you can quickly import your saved settings and get your design back.

in footer settings in widget there should be also warning because it destroys your work when you change the division of the footer for example from 6 to one column, cause all information you entered before the change of layout disappears from the footer columns, it is really not straightforward that changing layout of footer means you loose your information

    Hello,

Sorry, for now it works in such a way. You can leave a future request here – https://woodmart.canny.io/feature-requests so our developers will take it into account.

    Best Regards,
