Mega Menu categories

    Good afternoon!
    Before installing the theme, I already had a catalog, products, and a menu created. I can’t figure out how to replace “Menu child item 1-7” with my categories and subcategories. Maybe I need to create a new menu where instead of categories and subcategories there will be custom links with their names like in your video, is that so?

    Hello,

    In the Woodmart demos, the mega menu uses extra menu list widgets, so you’ll need to edit the corresponding HTML block and manually add your subcategories there.

    If you prefer to have subcategories added automatically instead of manually, you can create a regular WordPress menu with your categories/subcategories and then use the Menu widget inside the HTML block to display them dynamically.

    Hello.
    Thanks for the previous reply.
    I have created an HTML block for one of the categories. But for some reason he doesn’t pull up. I set the full width in the settings and selected the required block, but still nothing happened. What am I doing wrong? The HTML block turned out to be quite large, maybe that’s the reason.

    Other HTML blocks don’t pull up either. My subcategories are displayed in an enlarged block.

    It didn’t work only in MEGA MENU! In Main Menu my HTML block is working.
    Maybe I didn’t set the necessary setting for the MEGA MENU somewhere?

    Maybe it will help someone, the problem was that I added subcategories to the menu. There should be only first-order categories, then the created HTML block will open.
