AGIVParticipantHello,
We’re currently trying to implement Apple Pay via WooPayments, but unfortunately it’s not working as expected. The Apple Pay button appears correctly on both the cart and checkout pages, but the payment doesn’t go through. Orders remain in “Pending payment” status, and after placing an order, the site displays a warning message—however, the message has no content. Please see the attached screenshot for reference.
Following WooPayments’ suggestion, we ran a series of tests using the Twenty Twenty-Five theme, and Apple Pay worked perfectly—orders were marked as “Processing.” However, when we switch back to the Basel theme, the issue returns and orders remain in “Pending payment.”
Could you please assist us in identifying the cause? I’ve included the login credentials below so you can take a closer look when you have a moment.
Thank you in advance for your support!

Artem TemosKeymasterHello,
Thank you so much for purchasing our theme and contacting our support center.
Please record two videos: one with the default theme and one with WoodMart. We need to understand how we can reproduce this issue and understand what is different.
Kind Regards

AGIVParticipantHello,
Unfortunately, we are unable to provide a video at this time, but we can explain the steps required to reproduce the issue related to Apple Pay functionality:
1. Open the website using a device compatible with Apple Pay (iPhone, iPad, Mac with Touch ID, etc.)
2. Click the Apple Pay button.
3. Confirm the purchase using a real card linked to an actual Apple account. No real charges will be made. Test cards cannot be used in this case.
4. Once the purchase is completed, the test order will appear in the WooCommerce dashboard. For comparison, please repeat the steps with the Twenty Twenty-Five theme activated, or any other default WordPress theme.
Please note:
– WooPayments is currently in test mode.
– The Error Log feature is enabled under Payments > Settings > Advanced Settings.
– Any error messages from WooPayments will appear under WooCommerce > Status > Logs.We hope this information helps you identify the cause of the issue. If you need further details, we’re happy to help.
Thank you!

Artem TemosKeymasterHello,
Thank you for the instructions. Could you please also disable all plugins that are not related to our theme temporarily?
Kind Regards

AGIVParticipantHi,
We’ve deactivated all plugins that are not related to the theme, except for Woocommerce and Woopayments.
Since the site is live, we kindly ask you to let us know once your tests are completed so we can safely reactivate the remaining plugins and restore full site capabilities.
Thank you for your support!

Artem TemosKeymasterHello,
Could you please update the theme to the latest version? Then test how it works and send us a screenshot of the result.
Thank you in advance.

AGIVParticipantHi,
I’ve updated the theme to the latest version and ran a test as requested. Unfortunately, the issue persists — the behavior remains unchanged. An error message still appears, but without any content.
Please find attached a screenshot showing the result. Let me know if you need any additional details or if there’s anything else I should try. If you have the availability, I’d kindly suggest running a few tests on your side as well — it might help pinpoint the issue more precisely.
Thanks again.

AGIVParticipantHello,
The issue seems to be related to the Billing Address fields. Could you please try placing an order directly from the cart page, bypassing the standard checkout flow?
September 10, 2025 at 9:29 am #685397
Artem TemosKeymasterWe tried on the cart page and see exactly the same error. Something wrong with the billing address. But while testing, I filled in my address with some Romanian in the Apple Pay screen.
