On home page product grid show vendor name

I need to make show the vendor name on home page product grid on the place i shown in the image and also i need to increase the number of product grid in the home page to more as in the 2nd picture
My first picture shows 5 items on the home page i need to increase its atleast upto 10 or more even for 2 lines its better how to do it
