Assistance with Maintaining Image Shape for WordPress Categories

Hello,
Could you please advise me on how I can maintain the same shape for images when uploading them to a specific category, even if the image is not symmetrical? I have attached a file showing how the uploaded image should appear on the website, because currently, when an image is uploaded, the shape gets completely distorted.

Hi,
Thank you for the clarification, but regardless of the format, the photo itself falls within the category circle. I understood exactly how it should be done — I just add the photo to the category’s “Thumbnail” so that it fits perfectly in the circle regardless of the format. Thank you for getting involved.
