Issue with Variant Combinations in Parent Product

    Dear Xtemos Team,

    I’m experiencing an issue with the variant combinations and I’m not sure whether I may have changed a setting by mistake or if this behavior has been affected by recent updates.

    Setup:
    I have assigned several variants to a parent product using attributes. The two relevant attributes are:

    Material – Aluminium or Stainless Steel

    Color – Brushed Stainless Steel or Anthracite Grey

    Previously, only the combinations Aluminium + Anthracite Grey and Stainless Steel + Brushed Stainless Steel were available. When selecting “Material: Aluminium,” for example, the color option “Brushed Stainless Steel” was automatically disabled (greyed out), since that combination doesn’t exist.

    Currently, this logic no longer works – unavailable variant combinations are not being disabled anymore. Unfortunately, I can’t figure out what might be wrong or what I may have overlooked.

    Could you please help me resolve this issue?

    Hello,

    Navigate to Products > Attributes > edit attribute > Choose the disabled swatch. The disabled Swatch style is for the variants of the Products that are disabled, not for the Out of Stock variants. So, you need to have the variant of the Product not checked with the Enable option on i,t and then the Disabled Swatch style will work accordingly.

    Hello,

    thank you very much for your support. I’ve checked your recommendation but couldn’t find any issue. Since it works with the product “BOXXI 1er”, but not with “ALVARA 1er”, I compared the settings of both products – without finding any differences.

    Works: BOXXI 1er > https://reinkedesign.shop/produkt/muelltonnenbox-boxxi-1er/

    Doesn’t work: ALVARA 1er > https://reinkedesign.shop/produkt/muelltonnenbox-alvara-1er/

    Could you please take another look in the backend to see if you notice anything or if I might have overlooked something? You can find the login details in the private area.

    Hello,

    Your issue has been resolved. I have increased the AJAX variation threshold value under Theme Settings > Shop > Variable products: https://prnt.sc/x_BOGCelUZQ7, check back your site and check the issue.
