dgmaxiParticipantI have a woocomerce woodmart with 20.000 products (130000 term relations) and when y search products, the 512M memory limit in PHP is exhausted. This does not happen with the AJAX search, or even with the search with product_type=any
The problem comes when I put the product_type=product which I understand triggers the loading of a template that evidently has a performance issue.
PLease I need a quick fix to this, I used some strange techniques to solve it temporarily
I have the lasst woodmart version and every plugin up to date
I want to clarify this is not a mysql issue, since the queries are really fast and the search works smoothly on filters and other pages.November 11, 2025 at 10:27 am #695299
Artem TemosKeymasterHello,
To better assist you, could you kindly test the functionality with default WordPress themes such as TwentyTwenty or WooCommerce Storefront? This will help us determine whether the issue stems from our theme or elsewhere.

dgmaxiParticipantI cannot test another theme since the site is productive, but I assure you its something related with your theme, since its trying to load a product template and there is where the bug should be…
You can replicate the error accessing the url I sent, and you can be sure its there since if you remove de product_type=product and the site loads any other template, the same query loads in milliseconds

Artem TemosKeymasterIn this case, you need to create a staging development copy of your website. There, you will be able to do such kind of experiments without any harm to your production website.
Kind Regards

dgmaxiParticipantCan you check why I had to deactivate and activate the theme in order to apply changes? There were also some changes I was doing (search by SKU in the main search) that was not working until I reactivated the theme…

Artem TemosKeymasterIt seems to be some cache issue either in WooCommerce core or on your server. Probably, it was cleared when you switched between themes on your website.
