I’ve been having problems since last week, after updating to the latest version of Woodmart. This coincided with all the plugin updates I needed to perform (we use Elementor as our website builder and have a Pro license).
Since we switched the website to Woodmart, server usage has been hovering between 30% and 50% of the total available server resources.
This past week, we needed to implement dynamic discounts: 20% off regular prices and 20% off the sale price of products that were already discounted. For this, we used the Flycart dynamic discounts plugin.
The issue is that for a week we suffered from high server usage, keeping the plugin running until the discount week ended, as we couldn’t turn it off while the promotions were in effect. But today the promotions ended, we turned off the plugin, cleared the cache (since we even had to enable LiteSpeed on the server and the website to prevent it from crashing), we tried everything, and now that we’ve deactivated that plugin, resource usage remains high, with spikes that we can’t pinpoint.
The CPU is maxed out, but so is the memory (and the Max Processes have increased, not to the maximum, but at least tripled in number during peak usage).
In any case, I’d like to discuss with you what our options are for figuring out what’s happening. Where should we look? What could be causing this?
