zmicier.zavadskiParticipantHi Woodmart support team,
I’m experiencing a layout/display issue with product grids across my site.
On multiple pages where products are displayed in a grid (for example, the bestsellers section on the homepage and other product listing sections), the last row often contains one or two completely empty “cards” instead of products. The grid keeps its structure (for example, 5 columns), but one or two of the slots in the last row are just blank.
This affects all places where products are shown via the theme’s product elements, not only the bestseller block.
Your product widget used there is “AJAX Product Tabs”. The Dokan support team has already checked their side and confirmed that this widget comes from the Woodmart theme (or a related plugin), and they recommended contacting you as they don’t control how this grid handles pagination and empty slots.
What I would like to achieve
The product grid should not display any empty slots/blank product cards in the last row (or anywhere in the grid).Could you please check if this is a known issue with the product grid / AJAX Product Tabs widget and advise how I can fix or configure it properly?
If needed, I can provide access to a staging site where the issue can be reproduced.
Best regards,

zmicier.zavadskiParticipantHello,
Thank you for your reply!
I’m sharing the requested screenshots — please find them attached.

https://prnt.sc/9j4eppa_G0-NAdditionally, I’m providing full access to the test environment, where you can make any necessary changes without affecting the live site. This should help you reproduce the issue safely and in real time.
Please note:
The same problem with empty grid spaces also appears in the main shop product list and in other product listing locations across the site. Because of this, we currently have to enable infinite scrolling wherever possible as a temporary workaround. If you need anything else — additional screenshots, videos, or access — just let me know. I’m happy to assist.

Aizaz Imtiaz AwanKeymasterHello,
The empty product spaces appear because WooCommerce is set to hide out-of-stock products.
When this option is enabled here:
WooCommerce > Settings > Products > Inventory > “Hide out of stock items from the catalog”
WooCommerce removes those products from the product loop.
So even if you set 48 products per page, only 43 items are actually returned, and the 4-column grid then shows blank spaces in the last row.
When you disable that WooCommerce option, all 48 items appear — which is why the layout looks correct again.
Woodmart also provides a setting that helps in this exact situation.
Please try enabling this option:
Theme Settings > Product Archive > “Show Out of Stock products at the end (experimental)”
This allows you to keep WooCommerce’s “hide out of stock” option enabled while letting the theme handle the product order more smoothly to avoid empty grid spaces.
Please now check back your site and check the issue, if you have any questions feel free to contact us.

zmicier.zavadskiParticipantHi,
Thanks a lot for your explanation and for pointing me to the “Show Out of Stock products at the end (experimental)” option.
I’ve tested it on my side as follows:
WooCommerce → Hide out of stock items from the catalog: enabled
Woodmart → Show Out of Stock products at the end (experimental): enabled
Unfortunately, the empty product slots in the product grids are still appearing in this configuration — the option doesn’t seem to change the layout in my case.
Could you please check this behavior on your side and let me know if there is anything else I should adjust in the theme settings or via custom code to remove these empty slots while keeping out-of-stock products hidden from the catalog?

Aizaz Imtiaz AwanKeymasterHello,
Could you please check how it works with some default WordPress themes like WooCommerce Storefront to understand if it is our theme issue or not?

zmicier.zavadskiParticipantHi Aizaz,
Thanks for the suggestion.
I’ve switched to the default Storefront theme and I can still see the same behaviour on the main shop page: with “Hide out of stock items from the catalog” enabled, the last row of the grid still shows empty slots.
So it seems this is not specific to Woodmart.Could you please advise where it would be best to address this next?

Aizaz Imtiaz AwanKeymasterHello,
Thank you for the update and for testing with the default Storefront theme. Since the issue persists even outside of Woodmart, it appears to be related to WooCommerce itself rather than the theme.
The next best step would be to:
Check if any plugins affecting the product grid or catalog layout might be causing this. Temporarily disable them to see if the behavior changes.
If the issue still persists, reaching out to WooCommerce support would be the most appropriate next step, as they can provide guidance on handling empty slots in the product grid.
Best Regards,
