In the final total in the checkout, the VAT price is displayed as equal to the final amount, meaning the system shows “includes 15.83€ VAT” when the final amount is 15.83€. This is incorrect, because with my VAT rate of 20%, the actual VAT included in the final price should be 3.16€ (15.83 * 0.2 = 3.16€). Photo attached.
My configuration is as follows:
Prices entered with tax:
– No, I will enter prices exclusive of tax
– Tax rates: one standard rate of 20%
– Display prices in the shop: Including tax
– Display prices during cart and checkout: Including tax
– Calculate tax based on: Shop base address
– Default customer location: Shop country/region
Despite this, in the checkout, when the final price including VAT is for example 15.83€, the system shows that the price includes 15.83€ VAT, instead of the correct 3.16€.
Expected behavior:
VAT should be calculated and displayed correctly — 20% of the final price (in this example: 3.16€), instead of showing the entire amount as VAT.
Please assist in resolving the issue so that VAT is displayed correctly in the checkout, as it is shown correctly everywhere else (product pages and price calculations). The problem appears only in the checkout screen.
