TBParticipantHello.
I have been using your theme with the Elementor Page Builder for a long time and am very pleased with it.
Recently, I have been experiencing an issue with autoplay for product videos in the gallery on the product page.
I set everything up as usual, which has worked very well so far. However, now when I open the product page, the video starts playing briefly but then stops.
No matter what I set in the functions, the normal autoplay function (as before) does not work.
I have also deactivated other installed plugins to test for conflicts, but without success.
What could be the reason for this and how can I get the autoplay video function to work as usual again?
Thanks for your support.

Aizaz Imtiaz AwanKeymasterHello,
I have checked your product page and the video autoplay is working fine on your site. Check back your site and check the issue after completely clearing the cache.
If the issue remains, Could you please record a short video and describe how we can reproduce the issue so we can check this for you?
Best Regards,

TBParticipantHello.
Here is a short video. Normally, when you opened a product page, the product video would start playing immediately and then loop continuously. Now, the video starts playing briefly but then stops. See the video in the attachment. The autoplay function is interrupted abruptly and the video switches to the stored product image. I can then start the video manually, but thats not the Autoplay function as before.
I haven’t changed any settings. Incidentally, the incorrect autoplay function is displayed in this way in all browsers (Firefox / Safari / Chrome).
Why is autoplay no longer running and looping?
Thanks for your support.

Aizaz Imtiaz AwanKeymasterHello,
Please deactivate all the 3rd party plugins and activate only theme-required plugins on the site, and then check the issue. I am sure your issue will be solved. Then activate the 3rd party plugins one by one and check which plugin is creating the issue for you.
Otherwise, if the issue still exists, then keep the 3rd party plugins deactivated and share the WP login details, so I can check and give you a possible solution.

TBParticipantHello an many thanks.
I have tried several times to deactivate all third-party plugins, but without success. The autostart still does not work. There must be another cause related to Woodmart?!?
You will find the access data in the private content area. Please be careful—the shop is online and live.
Thank you very much for your support.

Aizaz Imtiaz AwanKeymasterHello,
To investigate this properly without affecting your live website. Please try to create a Staging platform where you can test issues, enable/disable features/plugins, thus such changes will affect the main site. Also, share the WP login details of the staging site so I can further check on your staging site and troubleshoot the issue.
The article below will help you to create it: https://www.wpbeginner.com/wp-tutorials/how-to-create-staging-environment-for-a-wordpress-site/

TBParticipantHello.
Thanks.
Unfortunately, I have never built a staging site and currently don’t have the time to deal with it intensively. I have already spent so much time troubleshooting the problem that I am currently unable to do so.
During my search, I had an idea: could it be that there is a JS-SWIPER loading problem between Woodmart and the latest version of Elementor? Could that possibly be the source of the error?
Many thanks for your support.

Aizaz Imtiaz AwanKeymasterHello,
I have checked, and I don’t see any issue related to Swiper JS. Please confirm the permission for plugin deactivation and switching to the parent/default theme for testing.
Looking forward to collaborating with you!

TBParticipantThanks for your reply.
I really enjoy working with you, but I’ll have to put it off for a bit.
Unfortunately, I don’t have any time at the moment to deal with or set up the staging workaround.
I can’t risk making changes to the existing shop at this time and possibly losing settings and functions.I will get back to you at a later date once I have set up a staging workspace.
Until then.
Best regards

Aizaz Imtiaz AwanKeymasterHello,
No problem at all.I completely understand — it’s always safest to test on a staging site first.
Feel free to get back to me whenever your staging environment is ready, and I’ll be happy to assist further.
Best regards,

TBParticipantHello,
Many Thanks.Over the weekend, I was able to ask a programmer friend of mine about this issue, and he ran a few tests (including with the browser console). I’ll just share this here—maybe there’s a possible solution in there, or it might help with troubleshooting without a staging environment.
ISSUE:
Desktop Sliders Not Rendering – Woodmart 8.3.5 + 8.3.6 in combination with Elementor Free 3.33.2 and WooCommerce:Issue Summary
All sliders/carousels (Woodmart Carousels and Elementor Free Carousels) do not function on Desktop(>1024px).
On Mobile (portrait and landscape), sliders work perfectly.
On Desktop, sliders show only a single flicker / one slide change, then stop completely with „fading Effect“. With typical slider function, Carousels do not move at all.
Key Facts / Diagnostics
Child theme deactivated → same issue persists.
All plugins deactivated, including caching and JS optimization → no change.
Parent theme freshly installed (v8.3.5 and 6) → issue persists.
Browser cache cleared → issue persists.
Workarounds tested:
Manual creation of window.theme
Forced woodmartInit() → window.theme now exists, but Desktop sliders still do not move.
Console output:
window.theme is now a valid object
JQMIGRATE: Migrate is installed, version 3.4.1 → informational only
Network check:
All theme JS files (theme.min.js, woodmart-theme.min.js) load successfully (status 200).Slider elements in DOM:
document.querySelectorAll(‘.swiper-container’)
→ NodeList is empty (length 0) on Desktop
→ Indicates that Desktop slider containers are not rendered at allMobile DOM contains slider containers → explains why Mobile works.
Conclusion and Thoughts
The issue is not caused by plugins, child theme, cache, or breakpoints.
The Desktop slider HTML is not rendered and JS initialization is blocked → no slider functionality.
This may indicate an error (maybe a little “bug”?!?) in Woodmart 8.3.5 and 8.3.6 that affects all desktop sliders and the display on the desktop. …just some thoughts…
Thank you and best regards.

Aizaz Imtiaz AwanKeymasterHello,
Could you please check how the carousel works with some default WordPress themes like WooCommerce Storefront to understand if it is our theme issue or not?
Best Regards,
