Product Category Widget Not Working – Besel Theme

    Hello Besel Support Team,

    I hope you are doing well.

    I’m currently using the Besel theme, and I’m facing an issue with the Product Category widget. Unfortunately, the widget is not working as expected on my site. It either does not display categories properly or does not function at all when added to a page/section.

    I’ve already tried the following:

    Cleared cache

    Re-saved permalinks

    Updated WordPress, WooCommerce, and the theme

    Checked for plugin conflicts

    However, the issue still persists.

    Could you please check if this is a known issue or guide me on how to fix it? I just provided you with the login information as well to check it.

    Thank you so much for contacting our support center.

    To better assist you, could you kindly test the functionality with default WordPress themes such as TwentyTwenty or WooCommerce Storefront? This will help us determine whether the issue stems from our theme or elsewhere.

    Hello,

    Thank you for your response.

    This Product Category widget is a Besel theme–specific widget, so it is not expected to work on a different theme. Switching themes would disable Besel’s widgets entirely, which makes it difficult to test the issue in that way.

    I did try testing with other themes, but the site crashes when switching, so I reverted back immediately.

    I’ve attached a screenshot of the exact widget from your theme so you can clearly see which widget I’m referring to.

    Please let me know how we can proceed with troubleshooting this within the Besel theme environment.

    OK, sorry, I thought about the WooCommerce widget.

    Okay, I see that you’re using WoodMart with Elementor on your website. Could you please specify which theme you’re experiencing this issue with? Additionally, please provide us with a direct link to the page where you’ve placed this category element.
