Long payment time

    Hi!
    On this website the payment is extremely long. I am using Stripe but that is not the problem as I also activated “check payment” as a test method and the problem is the same.
    I have only 1 product and that is gift cards with the plugin WebToffee Gift Cards. I have deactivated this plugin and made a standard woocommerce product and the problem remains.

    I also checked with my hosting supplier and the support staff has been making tests. They say the problem is at checkout with Ajax.
    Is this something you can help me with?

    Hello,

    Could you please check how it works with some default WordPress themes like TwentyTwenty or WooCommerce Storefront to understand if it is our theme issue or not?

    Thanks for the tips. I tried with standard WP theme and it took aprox the same as with Woodmart, 18sec.
    That is quicker than the other days when testing, then it took around 2 minutes.
    I suppose 18sec is acceptable and it dont seem to be a problem with the theme.

    Yes, since the behavior is the same with a default WordPress theme, it does not appear to be theme-related. An 18-second checkout is significantly better than before, though it can still be influenced by factors such as server performance.

    If the issue becomes worse again, I’d recommend continuing to work with your hosting provider to review server logs and performance during checkout.
