Issue with Importing Theme Settings Backup

    Hello Woodmart Support Team,

    I previously had the Woodmart theme installed on my website and fully customized the theme settings. I also created a backup of these settings.

    Later, I encountered an issue with my website, so I deleted everything and reinstalled a fresh copy of WordPress along with the Woodmart theme.

    Now, I am trying to restore my settings from the backup using the Import option in Theme Settings → Import / Export / Reset, but I am facing the following problem:

    – When I click the Import button, no file selection window opens to choose my backup from my computer.
    – Instead, the message appears immediately:
    “New options have been successfully imported.”
    – As a result, I cannot restore the backup I saved on my computer.

    Could you please advise the correct way to import a theme settings backup from my computer after a fresh installation, or fix the issue so that the file selection dialog opens?

    Hello,

    Please follow these steps:

    Open the exported JSON file from your computer using a text editor.

    Copy all the content/code inside the JSON file.

    Go to Theme Settings > Import / Export / Reset > Import.

    Paste the copied JSON code into the import area.

    Click the Import button.

    This will restore your previous theme settings correctly.
