Problem with grids in Elementor
-
Hi,
I’m having a problem with a grid in Elementor.
I added a text container to a post. I added two-column Grid elements below one title. Then I tried to copy it and add it below another title. I increased the number of columns and rows to 3 (3 columns, three rows), and the problems started. The added images were the same size, and with three columns and three rows, everything was tiny: 9 images side by side. I’m attaching the photos, but since it’s a draft, I can’t post the link.
PS: I added a grid element below the above container and had the same problem.

Hello,
The behavior you are seeing is expected: when you set 3 columns and 3 rows, Elementor divides the same container width into more columns, so each image becomes smaller. That’s why they look tiny when you switch from 2 columns to 3 columns.
– Make sure the image size option in the Grid widget is set to something like Medium or Large, not Thumbnail. Increasing the number of columns will always make each image smaller. If you want larger images, reduce the number of columns (for example 2 or 3 total, not 3×3).
Also, you can use the theme template library and import the relevant templates you want and use it on your site. https://xtemos.com/docs-topic/templates-library/
Best Regards,
Thanks for the help, Aizaz,
I notice that the problem occurred when I used the image box, but without is fine. How do I make columns the same size? I cannot find the option.
I also checked the post made with Gutenberg instead of Elementor, and the same problem with grids persists. See attached images. (link to the test post within privite section)
Thanks for the help.

Hello,
To achieve equal-sized columns, please use the Image Gallery widget instead of the Image Box widget. The Image Gallery widget keeps images in a uniform grid and will display them at equal sizes.
