helloiam74ParticipantIn one of my product categories, I added additional content using an HTML block via Elementor.
The section is set to “Boxed”, width 800px, and “Stretch Section” is disabled. However, the content gets cut off on the right side. I think because of the sidebar.
The text clearly extends beyond the content area and is clipped by the theme layout.
Padding or width settings in Elementor have no effect, as the parent container seems to restrict or hide the overflow.Summary of the issue:
• WooCommerce category page with sidebar
• HTML / Elementor content below the product grid
• Section is not stretched, boxed layout
• Right side of the content is cut off
• CSS fixes for overflow/width did not solve the issue reliablyMy question:
Is there a recommended way in Woodmart to display additional content below the product grid without it being clipped by the sidebar/grid layout?
Or is there a theme option to force this area to use the full content width?Thank you very much for your support.

helloiam74ParticipantHello,
thank you for your response.
I have attached screenshots that clearly show the issue:
On my WooCommerce category page (example:
https://…….de/produkt-kategorie/actioncams/ ), the additional category content that I added via an Elementor HTML block is being cut off on the right side when the sidebar is enabled. The section itself is set to:
– Boxed layout
– 800px width (its better, but its not looking good)
– Stretch Section disabled (I would actually prefer the content to be displayed in full width, but thats not working)
However, the parent container of the shop layout seems to restrict the width or apply clipping, so part of the content becomes invisible on the right side. Adjusting padding, width, or layout options in Elementor does not fix the problem.
You can see in the screenshots that:
– The content extends beyond the visible content area
– The right side of the text is not fully visible
– This only happens on shop/category pages with an active sidebar
I have provided my WP-Admin login details in the Private Content field as requested, so you can directly check and reproduce the issue on my website.
Thank you very much for your support.
Best regards

Please edit the container and disable the Stretch Container in the Xtemos Extra.

helloiam74ParticipantHey, that’s not the solution. The category page still looks terrible. I’d like it to be full width, or at least look better.
I would like the category page below to look like this: https://luckyhemp.de/collections/cbd-blueten

The cutting issue happens because some containers inside the category description layout still have Stretch Container enabled.
Please edit the category layout and disable “Stretch Container” on every container used in the description section, not just one. Otherwise, parts of the content will keep overflowing or looking broken.
Currently, your layout is using a boxed width, which limits the content area.
To make it full-width, set the container width to Full WidthOn the reference site you shared, there is no sidebar, so the content goes from left to right.
On your site, a left sidebar is enabled, which creates the white space you see.You can control this here:
- Go to Theme Settings > Product archive > Sidebar
- Either disable the sidebar,
- OR adjust the Sidebar size to reduce the empty space.
Best Regards,
