We hired a web development agency to create the website. Now we can’t update the website from the theme/update menu; it always gives an error (Update failed: Download failed Unauthorized). We also can’t update themes from WordPress.
I decided to deactivate the license and buy another one, but the problem persists. We need help to fix this.
As we can see, the theme is still activated. Note that if you can’t deactivate it then you have a nulled version of the theme installed. In this case, you need to download our theme from ThemeForest and reinstall it completely.

You won’t lose your site content or theme settings by installing the official WoodMart. Replacing the theme updates files only. Theme Settings and custom CSS remain. You would only lose customizations made directly in the parent theme files.
Follow these steps:
1) Download the official WoodMart package from your ThemeForest account and use the installable zip (woodmart.zip).
2) Go to Appearance -> Themes -> Add New -> Upload Theme, select woodmart.zip, click Install Now.
3) When prompted, click Replace current with uploaded.
4) Go to WoodMart -> Plugins and update WoodMart Core.
5) Go to WoodMart -> Theme License and activate with your purchase code, then check Dashboard -> Updates.
