bridgetParticipantHey,
I have ticked in the Enable AJAX add to cart buttons on archives but when I add a product to the cart the popup basket widget does not show. I have also noticed thatthe basked styling when I click on it is completely out of alignment and off. If this is to be edited in the layout templates we do not sem to have a layout template for the basket widget.
Please can you advise what to do to get this working and looking as the WOODMART theme demo layout and styling.
Many thanks,
Bridge
January 29, 2026 at 3:20 pm #706577Hello,
Navigate to Theme Settings > Shop > Shopping cart widget > Choose action after add to cart button.
Navigate to WooCommerce > Settings > Products > Enable AJAX add to cart buttons on archives.
Also, navigate to WoodMart > Header Builder > Edit Current Header > Configure cart Settings for both mobile and desktop, and choose the cart position “Hidden Sidebar”.

January 30, 2026 at 8:55 am #706650Hello,
Please deactivate all the 3rd party plugins and activate only theme-required plugins on the site and then check the issue. I am sure your issue will be solved. Then Activate the 3rd party plugins one by one and check which plugin is creating the issue for you.
Otherwise, if the issue still exists, then keep the 3rd party plugins deactivated and share the WP admin login details of your site so I can check and give you a possible solution.

February 6, 2026 at 3:14 pm #707532Hello,
Navigate to Elementor -> Settings -> Integrations and disable the “Mini Cart Template” and check the issue after completely clearing the cache.
If the issue remains, please keep all plugins that are not related to our theme temporarily turned off so we can test this.

The issue occurred because both Elementor’s Mini Cart and the theme’s Mini Cart were enabled simultaneously:https://postimg.cc/xcgJ71Y8
You need to disable the “Mini Cart Template” from Elementor > Settings > Integrations, then the theme shopping cart widget will display properly: https://postimg.cc/FkNzW2Bj

bridgetParticipantHey,
That’s what I am trying to explain I don’t seem to have the option to disable the mini cart template in Elementor > Settings > Integrations, as seen in the screenshot I attached previously attached. I have also attached to this message. Is there another way I can disable this?
Thanks,
Bridge

bridgetParticipantHey,
Thank you, I can see that the design on the basket looks great now – I appreciate you helping me with this. However, the cart still does not pop up when i add a product to the cart. Instead it redirects to this page https://andark.co.uk/newsletter/?product_id=149461
All the settings, are as follows…
Navigate to Theme Settings > Shop > Shopping cart widget > Choose action after add to cart button.
Navigate to WooCommerce > Settings > Products > Enable AJAX add to cart buttons on archives.
Also, navigate to WoodMart > Header Builder > Edit Current Header > Configure cart Settings for both mobile and desktop, and choose the cart position “Hidden Sidebar”.
But the cart still does not display after adding a product to it. Please can you help – I have cleared cache, checking in various browsers and on mobile.
Many thanks,
Bridget

bridgetParticipantHey,
We have switched out all plugins that are not connected to the theme – Every time I add a product to basket i get redirected to this page https://andark.co.uk/newsletter/?product_id=145826 rather than staying on the current product page and the basket widget popping up from the right side of the screen.
We appreciate you going into the website to fix this for us as we have exhausted everything our end with following the correct setup and it still does not work.
Many Thanks,
Bridget
February 28, 2026 at 2:33 pm #710337Hello,
Could you please check how it works with some default WordPress themes like TwentyTwenty or WooCommerce Storefront to understand if it is our theme issue or not?

bridgetParticipantHi there,
I’ve now resolved the issue where customers were being redirected to the /newsletter page after adding a product to the cart.
However, I’m still having trouble with the cart behaviour. Despite configuring the following settings correctly:
Theme Settings > Shop > Shopping cart widget > “Action after add to cart”
WooCommerce > Settings > Products > “Enable AJAX add to cart buttons on archives”
WoodMart > Header Builder > Edit Current Header > Cart settings (mobile and desktop) set to “Hidden Sidebar”…the basket widget is still not appearing as it does on the demo site (see attached image).
Instead:
When a customer adds a product from a category page, they are redirected to the single product page.
When adding a product from the single product page, they only see a link to view the basket, rather than the cart widget popping up.Please see attached images for reference.
Your help to get this issue resolved is truly appreciated, as we feel this will help increase our sales and this is one of the main features we loved about this demo.
Many thanks,
Bridget

Please all update the new version of the theme “WOODMART WordPress NEW: 8.4.1 RELEASED”, update the required plugin, and check the option.

bridgetParticipantHey, sorry – again. I have tested in an incognito window on Chrome and you are correct as per your screenshot – it works perfectly in the homepage with the basket popping up after adding a product to the cart. BUT if i go to a product category page or a single product page again in the incognito window on chrome the hidden basket does not pop up once i add a product to the cart. Can you see if this is actually working your end and not just from the homepage. Thank you 🙂
April 11, 2026 at 8:18 am #715709Hello,
On your category pages it is working fine. For the single product page, Navigate to Theme Settings > Single Product > Add to cart and enable the “AJAX Add to cart” option.
Best Regards
