viniParticipantHi!
i know we can set brand colors in theme settings. Some configuration also. Buttons / etc.But i have question… when i go
https://www.woodmart.com/wp-admin/site-editor.php?p=%2FstylebookWe have there: “Default colors” / “Default gradients”.
I tried change it, but don’t see on this page “edit button”.
I checked Theme settings, and also don’t found anything.I missed something? or maybe i have possibility to change “default colors and gradients”?
I know we have brand primary color / second color… but even this 2 colors, don’t see everytime when start creating page. It’s little problematic, because all time i need “copy colors” from different place, and maybe it’s possible to set my own “default gradients / colors” to don’t looking it every time? maybe i missed something?
We are using somethimes patterns, but it’s not working how we want (we can’t(?) lock only “style” our element… if i lock it, then also locked is “content inside table / etc”?

Default colors in Stylebook are global WordPress styles and usually don’t affect the brand widget because the theme uses Theme Settings for colors. That’s why you don’t see an edit color option there.
These settings appear when you select a specific element in the editor. In this case, you have selected a paragraph, so the color options shown are for paragraphs only.
If you select another element (for example: button, heading, or image), the settings for that element will appear.
Theme colors should be managed in Theme Settings > Styles and Colors/Typography, You can change the font by means of the Advanced typography option, which allows you to choose the item from a drop-down or insert your Custom CSS class. Please navigate to the Theme Settings > Typography > Advanced Typography.
Here is the documentation providing more detailed instructions: https://xtemos.com/docs/woodmart/advanced-typography-settings/

viniParticipantHi thanks, yes i tried little this advenced settings (for my opinion good change will be in default move H1,h2,h2 to default setting), but we can also do it by ourself.
It’s bad wordpress don’t give possibility to change this default colors. Just add there class to each… and then custom css can change it. But it’s show only “element” so we can’t edit it…
Thanks for help and informations!
February 25, 2026 at 8:44 am #709819Hello,
Yes, you are correct — this limitation comes from the way the block editor works. You can check with the default theme to confirm this.
Regarding headings (H1, H2, H3, etc.), you can control them globally via:
Theme Settings > Typography > Basic > Title font.There you can define typography for titles (h1, h2, h3, h4, h5, h6).
Best Regards,
