Mobile menu layout changes when enabling Mobile Side Menu

    Hello Xtemos support team,

    I’m having an issue with the mobile menu that I haven’t been able to solve using the available settings.

    **Context:**
    On desktop, I already have a menu section called **“Exposiciones”** with two sub-links.
    This section works correctly on desktop but **does not appear on mobile by default**.

    **What I want to do:**

    * Make this existing desktop menu section (“Exposiciones”) also visible on mobile.
    * Keep the **same clean and simple mobile menu layout** I had before (no icons, no “All categories” block).

    **What happens instead:**

    * When I assign the menu to **Mobile Side Menu** (Appearance → Menus) so that this section appears on mobile,
    * the mobile menu layout automatically changes to a “shop / categories” style:

    * icons appear,
    * an “All categories” block appears,
    * the design becomes visually heavier.

    I’ve checked:

    * Header Builder (Mobile view),
    * Mobile menu block settings,
    * Theme Settings,
    but I can’t find any option to keep the original simple mobile menu layout while just adding this existing desktop section.

    I’ve attached two screenshots:

    1. The original clean mobile menu layout (before enabling Mobile Side Menu).
    2. The mobile menu layout after enabling Mobile Side Menu to show the “Exposiciones” section.

    **My question:**
    Is there a way in Woodmart to:

    * display the same menu sections on desktop and mobile,
    * keep the simple mobile menu layout,
    * and avoid switching to the categories-style mobile menu?

    If this is a known limitation, I’d appreciate confirmation so I can decide the best workaround.

    Hello,

    Navigate to Appearance > Menu > Edit the menu that you want to show in the mobile menu and in the menu settings, set the display location to the mobile side menu and check the issue.

    Thank you for your reply.

    I have already assigned the menu to the **Mobile Side Menu**, and the “Exposiciones” section (with its two sub-links) is now visible on mobile.

    However, the issue is not the menu location, but the **change in the mobile menu layout**.

    As you can clearly see in the screenshots I previously attached:

    * The first screenshot shows the original clean mobile menu design.
    * The second screenshot shows the layout that appears after enabling the Mobile Side Menu, where:

    * Icons appear next to the items,
    * An “All Categories” block is displayed,
    * The text becomes **light grey, smaller, and less readable**.

    My goal is to display the same menu structure (including the “Exposiciones” section and its links) while keeping the original simple and readable mobile menu design.

    Could you please review the screenshots carefully and confirm:

    Is there any way in Woodmart to keep the original clean mobile menu layout while showing these additional menu links?

    If this is not possible, please confirm whether this behavior is a theme limitation.

    Hello,

    I have checked your site and currently you are using the “MENÚ PRINCIPAL PERSONALIZADO” menu.

    Navigate to Appearance > Menu > Edit the “MENÚ PRINCIPAL PERSONALIZADO” menu, disable the mobile display location.

    Then edit the “Menu definitivo SOLO móvil” menu (which you want to use as clear menu item) and add the Exhibition menu item with sub menu in this menu and choose the display location as mobile side. Then the “Menu definitivo SOLO móvil” menu will show in the mobile side menu.

    Thank you very much for your help and for checking the site directly.

    You were right — the issue was caused by my menu configuration. I hadn’t reviewed the mobile menu assignment carefully, and after following your instructions and using the correct menu (“Menu definitivo SOLO móvil”), everything is now working as expected.

    I have now:

    * Assigned the correct menu to the Mobile Side Menu.
    * Added the “Exposiciones” section with its two sub-links.
    * Adjusted the typography so the submenu items are clearly readable.

    Everything is displaying correctly on mobile now.
