xxprezzParticipantAdditional note: if you plan to restore from 1230PM version today 2-21-26 on siteground, please only do so with files not database. I have orders placed with customers and do not want to lose any of the data.
February 23, 2026 at 10:05 am #709544Hi,
Sorry to hear about this. The theme can’t delete files from wp-content/uploads, so this issue is not related to WoodMart.
Please contact SiteGround support urgently and ask them to restore the wp-content/uploads directory from the backup. Request a files-only restore and do not restore the database, so recent orders remain intact.
Kind Regards

xxprezzParticipantHi Artem,
Thank you. I did contact SiteGround and they reviewed server logs.
They found no FTP/SSH activity and no server-side cleanup/malware process deleting files. Instead, their access logs show bulk media deletions being initiated inside WordPress admin, with requests like:
/wp-admin/upload.php … action=delete&bulk_action=Apply … media[]=…So this isn’t SiteGround deleting /wp-content/uploads externally — it’s an application-level delete action being triggered within WP Admin.
Can you please advise what within WoodMart (or included modules/plugins such as theme helpers, optimization, demo/cleanup tools, cron tasks, etc.) could generate a Media Library bulk-delete request like the above, and what logging/setting I should enable to identify the source?
If WoodMart cannot generate this under any circumstance, please confirm that as well, and tell me the most likely WP-level causes you see in the field (plugin conflicts, scheduled actions, role/capability issues, etc.) so I can isolate it.
Thanks.

February 24, 2026 at 10:06 am #709667Hi and thanks for the detailed follow-up.
Those
/wp-admin/upload.php?action=deletebulk requests are generated from inside WordPress Admin by the Media Library’s bulk delete action. WoodMart (theme, Core plugin, setup wizard, demo import, presets, or any theme tools) does not include any feature, cron, or cleanup task that deletes attachments from the Media Library or sends such delete requests. This action was initiated on your site by a logged-in user or another plugin that called the core bulk delete endpoint; it is not produced by WoodMart.Kind Regards
