Urgent: Sudden White Margins on Full-Width Homepage Section
-
Hello Woodmart Team,
I am contacting you because I am facing a persistent layout issue on my Homepage that appeared suddenly a few days ago, without any manual changes to the design or Elementor settings.
The Issue:
The main video section (Section 1) on the Homepage, which is set to “Full Width” and “Stretch Section” in Elementor, is displaying unwanted white spaces (margins) on the left and right sides. It seems the container is not calculating the viewport width correctly.
Troubleshooting steps I have already taken (without success):
1. Testing Environment: I have tested in Incognito mode, different browsers (Chrome, Firefox), and different internet connections. The issue persists on my end.
2. Hosting Support: I contacted Cloudways support. They were unable to replicate the issue on their screens (it looked fine to them), which suggests this might be a conflict related to specific screen resolutions (2K/4K) or how the theme handles the scrollbar width calculation.
3. Cache: I have purged Varnish, Breeze, and Redis Object Cache multiple times.
4. Elementor: I have used the “Regenerate Files & Data” tool in Elementor > Tools.
5. CSS Attempts: I tried applying custom CSS (using 100vw, negative margins, overflow: visible on the container), but these were just patches that broke other elements like the search bar or the video aspect ratio.
I have removed all custom CSS related to this section so you can see the error in its original state.
Request:
Since this seems to be a structural conflict between Woodmart’s .container layout and Elementor’s JS stretch function, I need you to log in to the backend and investigate why the theme is restricting the width on my resolution.
Attached:
– Screenshot of how I see it (with white spaces).
– Screenshot from Cloudways support (looking correct).
Please advise.

Hello,
You can fix it by applying patch # 709373. To do this, go to Dashboard -> WoodMart -> Patcher, find the corresponding patch and click on the “Apply” button. Let us know if it works for you.
