andrea-0071ParticipantHello Support Team
Today I noticed that my site has suddenly changed.
The home page in particular has almost disappeared; part of the open menu remains, but very little of the page remains.
I have no idea what happened, but I don’t know what to look for to try to fix it. Can you give me some advice? I’ll start by saying that I haven’t done it myself, and it certainly hasn’t been updated in a while, since when I tried to do so in the past, it started having problems, so I had to look for a backup.February 28, 2026 at 11:15 am #710303Hello,
Please update the new version of the theme “WOODMART WordPress NEW: 8.4.0 RELEASED”, update the required plugin, and check the issue: https://xtemos.com/docs-topic/update-the-theme/
If the issue remains, turn off all of the plugins not related to the theme, refresh your cache, and check if the problem persists.
If the issue still remains, let me know and I will check and give you a possible solution.
Best Regards,

andrea-0071ParticipantGood morning, yesterday I updated the theme to the latest version and nothing changed.
Then I deactivated all the plugins and it still gave me errors, although different, probably due to the absence of WP Bakery.
Today I tried updating the various plugins( unfortunately not WP Bakery) and I’m still having the problem.
I tried excluding the plugins that aren’t essential to the theme, but the problem remains the same.
What can I do?March 2, 2026 at 3:13 pm #710514Hello,
Your issue has been resolved. I have updated the wp bakery plugin on your site and it is working fine. Check back your site and check the issue.

andrea-0071ParticipantHi Aizaz, i see now the home page works well! Great!!
Checking the site, I see that the MARCHI (brands) page now appears blank, and indeed, when I go to PRODUCTS > BRANDS, the brands are completely missing.
Is it possible to fix this? This is also because the products were associated with the individual brands they referenced.March 3, 2026 at 5:26 pm #710699Hello,
I’ve checked your website, and it looks like you are using a Product Attribute named “Brand” instead of the default WooCommerce Brands taxonomy.
Please navigate to: Products > Attributes and check the Brand attribute.
For more details, follow this guide: https://xtemos.com/docs-topic/product-brands/

andrea-0071ParticipantSorry, Aizaz, I went to Products > Attributes and see that what I called MARCHI is now BRAND, but what should I do to rename it? Go to Products > Attributes and rename “Brand” to “BRANDS”, or should I rename it to BRANDS TAXONOMY or rename in “MARCHI”?
I’m not sure how I can restore the old BRANDS page and thus make brands work as filters to search for products.
Isn’t it possible to move what’s now “Brand” to Products > Attributes and copy it to Products > Brands? Reverting it to how it was before?March 4, 2026 at 11:07 am #710779Hello,
At the moment, what you have under Products > Attributes > Brand is just a product attribute, not the WooCommerce Brands taxonomy. Renaming the attribute (to BRANDS, MARCHI, etc.) will only change its label — it will not restore the original Brands page or filtering functionality.
The blank “MARCHI / Brands” page appears because the original Brands taxonomy terms were removed or are empty, and your products are currently assigned to the Brand attribute instead.
Unfortunately, there is no automatic way to “move” or convert attribute terms into the Brands taxonomy with one click. You need to recreate it manually.
Best Regards,
