    When I add a product to a waiting list that’s out of stock, I receive a confirmation email. Even if I don’t click the “Confirm waiting list” link in the email, my email address is added to the list of those waiting for products.

    Hello,

    Please navigate to: WooCommerce > Settings > Emails > Waitlist – Confirm subscription

    Then review how this email is configured.

    If you prefer to remove the confirmation step completely, you can disable the “Confirm subscription” email there.

    I think I’ve been misunderstood. When I sign up for the waiting list, even if I don’t click the confirmation link in the email, the email address I added is still added to the waiting list on the site. Even if I enter an invalid email address, it still adds it to the list.

    Hello,

    I have tested this on our test site. This is the expected behavior of the Waitlist feature. The email address is added to the waitlist immediately after submitting the form. The “Confirm subscription” email does not prevent the address from being saved — it only confirms the subscription for notification purposes.
