    Good afternoon,

I have encountered an issue with the WoodMart theme.
After updating the theme, the website starts working incorrectly — the homepage and all internal pages display with errors and the layout breaks.

I tried switching the PHP version to 7.4 — the website works partially, but the footer and menu are not displayed.
When I set PHP to version 8.2 or 8.4, the website becomes completely broken and displays incorrectly.

Could you please advise what might be causing this issue and how it can be fixed?

    Hello,

Please deactivate all the 3rd party plugins and activate only theme-required plugins on the site and then check the issue. I am sure your issue will be solved. Then Activate the 3rd party plugins one by one and check which plugin is creating the issue for you.

Otherwise, if the issue still exists, then keep the 3rd party plugins deactivated and share the WP admin login details of your site so I can check and give you a possible solution.

    Best Regards,

Good evening, we’ve already done all of this.
Updating plugins doesn’t affect the site’s functionality.
However, after we updated the theme, the site crashed and we had to roll back from a backup.
My site’s admin panel login details are below:

    Hello,

You are using a very old version of theme, Since the site hasn’t been updated for years, major layout issues after updating are expected due to outdated content and customizations.

To safely update and migrate to PHP 8.3, we recommend:

    – Creating a staging copy of the site
    – Updating WordPress, plugins, and the theme step by step
    – Rebuilding outdated page elements with the current version of the theme/builder.

    Best Regards

    Добрый день!

Спасибо за ваши общие рекомендации, но…

Мы рассчитывали, что вы откроете историю ошибок и напишете нам информацию о конфликтах, которые вызывают эти сбои, чтобы мы могли их исправить.

    Hello,

Unfortunately, we cannot access the server error logs from our side. These logs are stored on your hosting server and can only be checked through your hosting control panel or by your hosting provider.

Since the site was using a very old theme version, a direct update can cause layout issues due to outdated templates or page builder elements, especially when running newer PHP versions.

We recommend checking the server error logs or enabling WordPress debug mode, which should show the exact conflict causing the issue.

    Best Regards

because I don’t see anyone answering me, if anyone has a link to a previous version. it’s SOS. I’ve been saying this for days and I’m disappointed with the support.

    Hello,

    @mike

Please create a support thread for your issue so we can properly review it and assist you. Posting in another customer’s thread may cause confusion.

Once you create your own topic, we will be happy to help you there.

    Unfortunately, I’m not an expert.
If I give you access to the hosting, you could look at the log and report it, and maybe even fix this conflict? 😉
