Can’t update theme v8.1.1 to latest version, says unauthorized

    We purchased a new key and activated via WoodMart -> Theme license. It said it was successful, but when we attempt to install the update it’s says “Unauthorized”.

    Hello,

    The “Download failed. Unauthorized” message usually means the theme license isn’t properly active on the current site or is still tied to another domain.

    Please try these steps:

    – Go to Dashboard -> WoodMart -> Theme License.
    – If it is active, click Deactivate.
    – Go to Dashboard -> Updates and click Check Again.
    – Return to Dashboard -> WoodMart -> Theme License and Activate with your purchase code.
    – Then go to Appearance -> Themes or Dashboard -> Updates and run the theme update.

    Thanks for getting back to me. I followed these steps and I still get the same “unauthorized” error when trying to upgrade the theme. Also, I noticed when I deactivated key, attempted to update the theme, then went back to activate it again it was showing that it was already activated.

    There was a developer who previous setup this site and purchased a key for this theme, but it expired. We purchased a new one since that developer is no longer working on the site, could that be causing a conflict?
