broadley.kieranParticipantHi,
Over the past few days the website has been running fine, but this morning it has started loading extremely slowly and sometimes timing out.
I contacted my hosting provider (Namecheap) and they advised that the site may need optimisation because the server CPU usage is hitting its limit. However, the site is mostly using the default theme setup and I have only made a couple of small changes.
The site is using:
* WordPress
* WoodMart theme
* Elementor + Elementor Pro
* WooCommerceHosting plan: Namecheap Stellar Plus (shared hosting)
The issues I’m experiencing:
* Very slow loading in the WordPress admin
* Pages occasionally timing out (503 errors)
* High CPU usage reported by the hostCould you please advise if there are any recommended optimisation settings for WoodMart when using Elementor and WooCommerce? Also, are there any known performance settings or features that should be disabled to reduce server load?
Thank you for your help.

broadley.kieranParticipantHere is another Error 503.
Yesterday the only changes I made were updating a price and adding a different attribute.
This site will be used for personalised products, so most listings will have several size options.March 7, 2026 at 3:23 pm #711463

March 7, 2026 at 5:29 pm #711477Hello,
Please deactivate all the 3rd party plugins and activate only theme-required plugins on the site and then check the issue. I am sure your issue will be solved. Then Activate the 3rd party plugins one by one and check which plugin is creating the issue for you.
Otherwise, if the issue still exists then keep the 3rd party plugins deactivated and share the WP admin login details of your site so I will check and give you a possible solution.
Best Regards.

broadley.kieranParticipantCan you give me a list of the plugins that I need to keep active for this theme
March 7, 2026 at 6:05 pm #711486Hello,
After deactivating all the plugins, just go to Appearance >> Install plugins, this will only show you the theme plugins to activate.
Best Regards.

broadley.kieranParticipantHi –
I deactivated all plugins. cpu ran at 24%
Activated the required one it’s running at 55%
I now need to activate elementor. Which will add to this.. would you say I need to get a different hosting package ? Or are these speeds seeming ok ?
March 9, 2026 at 9:04 am #711559Hello,
It should work ok after activating the Elementor plugin. Also, you can read the theme minimum requirements here:
https://xtemos.com/docs-topic/themes-requirements-space/If your hosting provider provides the minimum requirements, then it will be OK.
Best Regards.
