    Hello,

After the latest update of the Slides module, we noticed that some changes made the configuration a bit confusing and we also encountered a few functional issues.

The main problem, which currently prevents us from using this feature for one of our clients, is that the slide link is not working. Even when the link is correctly added in the slide settings, clicking on the slide does not redirect to the specified URL.

Additionally, we found some issues related to mobile banner configuration. The option to set a specific background image for mobile devices does not seem to work properly. Because of that, we currently need to create two separate slides (one for desktop and one for mobile) and control their visibility manually, which significantly increases the time required to configure the slides.

While we can work around the mobile issue this way, the problem with the slide link not working makes the module unusable, since we cannot redirect users to the intended pages.

Could you please check if this might be a bug in the current version or if there is any additional configuration required for the slide link to function correctly?

    Thank you for your support.

    Hello,

Could you please disable all plugins that are not related to our theme and provide us your admin access so we can check it?

    Thank you in advance

Guys, we can’t disable the plugins and expect you to analyze them; the site will lose a lot of sales that way. But when we analyze it, we can change whatever you need to check for the indicated errors.

In this case, you need to create a staging development copy of your website. There, you will be able to do such kind of experiments without any harm to your production website.

    Kind Regards
