Can a 404 page be directly signed to a Slider revolution template?

    Can a 404 page be directly signed to a Slider Revolution template? or do I need to put the template onto new page and then set that page as a 404 page ?

    If you want to use the custom 404 page, then please go to Pages >> Add new page with the content. Then select the newly created in the Theme Settings >> Other >> Custom 404 page: https://ibb.co/xKW78YSb
